About orange colors
Orange sits between red and yellow and reads as warm, energetic and friendly without red's urgency. The web set spans coral and lightsalmon, the vivid orange and darkorange keywords, and earthier tomato and orangered. It is a popular call-to-action color because it stands out against the blues that dominate most UI palettes.
Orange is one of the hardest colors to make accessible as text — its luminance is high, so mid oranges rarely clear WCAG AA on white. Use it for large headings, buttons with dark labels, or accents rather than body text, and lean on the darker end of the range when contrast matters.
