What is a scarlet screen?
A scarlet screen is simply a web page filled edge to edge with one solid color — Scarlet, hex #FF2400, or rgb(255, 36, 0). It is a mid-toned, warm color: in HSL it sits at 8° hue, 100% saturation and 50% lightness, and its relative luminance is 22.5%. The closest standard CSS color is Red (#FF0000).
