What is a graphite screen?
A graphite screen is simply a web page filled edge to edge with one solid color — Graphite, hex #41424C, or rgb(65, 66, 76). It is a dark, cool color: in HSL it sits at 235° hue, 8% saturation and 28% lightness, and its relative luminance is 5.5%. The closest standard CSS color is Dark Slate Gray (#2F4F4F).
