What is a gold screen?
A gold screen is simply a web page filled edge to edge with one solid color — Gold, hex #FFD700, or rgb(255, 215, 0). It is a very light, warm color: in HSL it sits at 51° hue, 100% saturation and 50% lightness, and its relative luminance is 69.9%. gold is one of the standard CSS color names, so it renders identically in every browser.
